No it is most definitely not too late for you to prepare for your GMAT exam. In fact you are at the most appropriate age to apply and study for your MBA degree. The Admissions committee at most universities prefer to admit candidates who are experienced for their MBA programs. This is because they believe that such candidates are more suitable as they will possess valuable skills like business acumen, maturity, intelligence etc. You will also have practical knowledge of the functioning of a firm - the hierarchy, the inter department dependency, a unique skill set which you may have acquired at your job etc. Universities look to admit versatile candidates and not only individuals with academic intelligence. You should first determine when you will attempt your GMAT, then accordingly map out a detailed study plan covering all the important topics of the syllabus. Regular study, attempting mock tests will help you to analyze your strengths and weaknesses and accordingly determine which methods to adopt to study. You must also pay attention to the other aspects of your profile - SOP, LOR, any internships you may have completed, online certifications which you have acquired, etc. These factors also play an important role in the admission process, hence it is advised you spend adequate time on the same.

Good Luck!

No!

You are never to old for any kind of education.

What is Age? Time that goes by !

What is this clock time we use to measure our age? Physics is not enough per se to explain the passing of time. This is my personal opinion.

So, go for it ! good luck.

No, not at all!
There is no age limit to give GRE. Infact the best thing about GRE is that you can give it as many times you want and whenever you want.
you said you don't have a job, I don't know how you thought that it will effect you in giving GRE. There is no such criteria that you must have a job to give GRE.
Just plan and study comprehensively. Good luck!

Around the age of 31 most people have a greater understanding of Mathematics. This is a natural follow-on from maturity and understanding of how Maths impacts on our lives.

At school level we learn the basics but never really in a practical sense. It is all textbook theory. The applications of mathematical theory happens only after leaving school. By 31 most people have a better understanding of the subject area.

This is the right time to mix theory( which by now is all but forgotten) and practice to arrive at an intellectual level.

By all means go to College to study Maths. You would be surprised to be at the top of the class merely through the sense of discovery in the last fifteen years! You will shine.

Good Luck.

No, universities do not have a maximum age of admission. Therefore you can apply, be accepted, enroll, and complete your studies just like anyone younger than you.

A person who goes to college directly from high school and completes college in 4 years is about 22 or 23. If they work until 65 they have 42 years of employment.

If you go to college at 30 and graduate in 4 years you are about 34 and have 31 years of employment ahead of you if you retire at 65.

You are more likely to get a higher paying job with the degree. Also most jobs requiring college degrees demand less physical labor. (I only worked as a waitress for a couple of years 50 years ago but I vividly remember how much my feet hurt at the end of a shift.)

So I say go for it. An advantage at 30 is that you probably have a better idea of what you want to pursue. Also you are probably less likely to waste as much time partying as we did in the 60s.

No, never too late to chase your dreams.

Suppose another person started that path at 17. He reached a milestone at 27. You will reach the same milestone at 37, even probably earlier, given your experience at your current works. So, after that only expertise matters.

In the US, many people enter a new profession -- such as high school teaching -- as "career changers." So 30s and 40s is not too old at all. (Or 50s or 60s.) If you already have college credits, shop around a bit for colleges that will accept those toward a degree. If you already have a bachelor's in another field, you may just have to take a year or so of courses, or in some cases, move directly into an MEd program. One important thing, in the US, each state has different requirements, so pay careful attention to meeting your state's requirements, not just credits, but the actual schools that you must attend to become licensed in your state. A good place to begin your search would be the state college or university closest to where you live. They will also help make your state requirement clear.

You are never late for anything. Be confident, put 100% efforts, be positive and you will achieve your goals. What type of jobs you searched and how did you go about? What is your specialization? What are your long term career plans? Proper suggestions can be given only when you give complete details.

Never lose hope. There are opportunities for everyone in this world.

Not at all. You can do it, but I would advise you to look at how long you want to do it and what it will mean for your retirement. This isnt like being a banker. Teaching has a relatively young expiration date. Sure you could do it until you’re 65, but it’s not pretty. In spite of what people think, teachers are now getting fairly shitty pensions. Your pension is based upon years of service and age. If you start at 30, you’ll likely need to work for at least 25 years, probably more. I started at 26 and I’ll be very lucky if I can retire at 55.
